Prophetic Visions and Shielding Families During 1971 War

In early 1971, well before political tensions escalated into military conflict on the subcontinent, Maharaj Ji was staying at Kainchi Dham. He suddenly began speaking cryptically of dark clouds, aeroplanes roaring in the sky, and border turmoil.

He summoned several military officers and civilian devotees whose families lived in border towns in Punjab and Rajasthan. Without offering military analysis, Baba commanded them with unusual urgency: "Send your families to your ancestral villages immediately. Do not delay! By winter, fires will burn along the border."

Those who trusted Baba followed his instructions without question, moving their children and elders to safety. When war broke out in December 1971, bombs fell on the very neighborhoods and air bases from which those families had been relocated, leaving their former houses damaged but their lives completely preserved.

Throughout the short fourteen-day conflict, Maharaj Ji spent long hours in secluded prayer at his Delhi and Kainchi ashrams. On December 15, Baba suddenly announced to his attendants with a radiant smile: "The fighting is finished. The soldiers can return home now." Exactly the next day, the historic instrument of surrender was signed and ceasefire declared.
