Special Advisory for June 15th (Pratishtha Bhandara)
On June 15th every year, Kainchi Dham witnesses over 1.5 to 2 lakh devotees. Vehicular movement on the main highway is redirected via alternate bypass routes by the police. Pilgrims are dropped at dedicated staging grounds in Bhowali or Niglat and walk or take shuttle vans to the temple.
Queues for Prasad (Malpua) and darshan can take 2 to 4 hours. Wear comfortable walking shoes, keep elders hydrated, and arrive in the valley a day prior.
